On Sunday, Ludo Chess is hosting a special chess day in collaboration with Bar Bougie, right in the middle of the impressive arena of the Wintercircus.
This event is designed specifically for beginners, hobby players, and casual café players who want to experience a tournament without needing a FIDE rating.
The concept is simple and accessible:
The day begins with five blitz qualification rounds (5+3) to determine your category.
After that, players compete in five rapid games (10+3) within their group, which will determine the winners of each division.
In addition to the competitive side, there are fun prizes for the category winners, and extra prizes will be raffled among all participants.
The goal of the tournament is to bring more people into chess, let newcomers experience the atmosphere of a real event, and enjoy a unique location in Ghent.
Practical Information
Participation is only possible through registration, and the number of spots is limited.
👉 If you’d like to try an accessible and friendly chess experience in a remarkable setting, make sure to register in time via the Ludo Chess organizers.

Mooie herinnering.
