January 1st, our national ELO rankings get their 3-monthly update. In order for games to be processed, the tournament reports need to be submitted to ratings@frbe-kbsb-ksb.be at latest 28.12. Furthermore, the General Assembly of 06.12.2025 approved the migration proposal of national ELO to FIDE ELO, with a target date of July 1st, 2026.

Wat valt daar op ?
Vooreerst zijn er veel KBSB only rated only.
Het zijn speelluwe schakers maar die kunnen plots aktief worden. Dus die beginnen terug van 0
Tweede heikel punt, kijk naar de elo verschillen !!! Verschillen tot 130 elo en kijk vooral ook naar het aantal ervan met relatief grote verschillen en op 1 persoon na telkens in het nadeel van de fide rating die lager aanvalt. Is het dan niet onverantwoord over te gaan naar de schrapping van de nationale elo ? Dit is flagrant, en in zekere zin ook niet eerlijk. In feite zou de fide moeten overtuigd kunnen worden om op zijn minst het gemiddelde van beide te nemen om dit verschil op zijn minst te halveren.
