Goals of the RBCF

The Royal Belgian Chess Federation (RBCF) is the official national chess federation of Belgium. Its objectives are:

• promoting the common interests of its members
• the representation of Belgian chess at international level
• joining the international umbrella organizations and encouraging participation in the events organized by them
• organizing or delegating all kinds of national competitions such as the Belgian championships for seniors and youth, interclub championships, the school chess championships, international open tournaments, etc.
• drawing up a ranking for playing members
• organizing various chess technical and administrative training courses
