Following the joint announcement by the International School Chess Federation and FIDE declaring 2026 the Year of Chess in Education, ISCF launched the “Chess in Education” Grant Program – a global initiative designed to scale proven educational projects that integrate chess into school systems.

National ELO to FIDE ELO migration - June 20th last submission deadline

During the last board meeting (05.05.2026 meeting minutes), the RBCF board has decided on the migration timing from national ELO to FIDE ELO. Following up on the approved migration to FIDE ELO, and FIDE information about the conversion formula, the RBCF decided to shift forward the last national ELO calculation to Monday June 22nd.
