🌍 Belgium’s Representative for RIDEF 2025 – Call for Applications

The 11th Rencontres Internationales des Échecs Francophones (RIDEF) will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from December 6 to 14, 2025 — an event that gathers the Francophone chess community from across the globe in a spirit of competition and friendship. Hosted in the vibrant “Red City” at the Cité des Langues et des Cultures, the tournament will feature classical, rapid, and blitz championships with a total prize fund of €10,000.

Each participating federation is invited to nominate one official representative.
🇧🇪 Belgium can be represented by one player.

Players interested in participating are invited to signal their interest by sending an email to arben.dardha@frbe-kbsb-ksb.be before October 22, 2025.

This year’s RIDEF promises both high-level chess and a rich cultural experience, with excursions through Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains. It’s a unique opportunity to compete internationally while sharing in the warmth and hospitality of Morocco.
