Dear Chess Friends,
On behalf of Czech Adaptive Sports, we are pleased to inform you about the upcoming 5th IPCA European Individual Chess Championship, which will take place from October 10 to 19, 2025, in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
This event is dedicated to players with physical disabilities and is organized under the auspices of IPCA, in cooperation with FIDE. The championship will feature tournaments in classical chess, rapid, and blitz formats. Full details can be found in the attached official invitation.
We kindly ask you to share this information with your members, and if your federation has players with physical disabilities, we would be delighted if you could nominate them to participate in this prestigious event. Although still relatively young, this championship is growing steadily – this year marks its 5th edition.
Please note that the deadline for entering players is September 1, 2025.
Entry Form is protected – you can only fill in the blank cells. Some fields are filled in automatically, and in others you can select an option from a drop-down list. Start filling the form from the first page.
Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Contact persons and further details are available in the attached document.
Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to welcoming you in Ostrava!
