The 8th Tournoi du Centre will take place from Wednesday August 21 to Sunday August 25, 2024.
From 75 participants, there is a minimum price of 2500 Eur.
As before, the tournament will consist of 7 rounds (Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday evening and 2 rounds on Saturday-Sunday). To make life easier for the players, in group B, there will be the possibility of a 1/2 point bye (except in the last round). The tournament is, of course, Fide-approved.
The top 3 players from the previous edition, if not qualified for the Elo Fide, can play in Group A if they wish (to be specified when registering). For the 2023 edition, these are Sébastien Carion, Damien De Pauw, Axel Denivet).
