The 8th Tournoi du Centre will take place from Wednesday, August 21st to Sunday, August 25th, 2024.
A minimum prize of 2500 EUR is guaranteed for 75 participants or more.
As before, the tournament will consist of 7 rounds (Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday evening, and 2 rounds on Saturday and Sunday). To make it easier for players, a 1/2 point bye is possible in Group B (except in the last round). The tournament is, of course, FIDE-rated.
If they do not qualify for the FIDE rating, the top 3 finishers from the previous edition may play in Group A if they wish (to be indicated upon registration). For the 2023 event, these are Sébastien Carion, Damien De Pauw, and Axel Denivet.
