BK Blitz on Sat. June 7 at Deinze: registrations open!

On Saturday, June 7, 2025 (from 11 AM to 6 PM), the Karpov Deinze chess club will organize the Belgian Blitz Championship. As this championship is part of a 4-day chess event, it promises to be a special edition. The tournament will take place in a unique setting. The organization has invited more than 100 artists (painters, sculptors, photographers, etc.) to transform the playing hall into a true chess art exhibition. Amidst these fantastic works, everyone can compete for the Belgian title. In addition to the main prizes, many rating prizes (-2200 / -2000 / -1800 / -1600 / 65+ / – 20 / – 16) are also provided. Furthermore, the organization offers the optional opportunity to socialize afterwards at a concluding dinner. So everyone welcome!
