Call for candidate – Chess match at the Belgian-Dutch border

On Wednesday, April 23 at 13:00, a symbolic chess match will take place to mark the opening of a unique cross-border chess table in the garden of the Cultural Centre Baarle, located at Pastoor de Katerstraat 7, 2387 Baarle-Hertog. The chessboard is positioned precisely on the border between Belgium and the Netherlands.

Dutch WGM Anne Haast has confirmed her participation to represent the Netherlands. We are now looking for one Belgian chess player to represent Belgium in this ceremonial match.
