Championship of Luxembourg province – 2nd edition

The second edition of the Championship of Luxembourg province will be held on Sunday August 31, 2025 in Arlon. Organized by the Arlon club – one of the youngest clubs in the country, and already the largest in the province – this event once again promises to be a highlight of the Belgian chess calendar.

Last year’s successful event saw the victory of French grandmaster Anthony Wirig (2489 Elo). Once again this year, over €2,000 in prizes will be distributed, including €700 for the winner.
