CHESS TEACHER WANTED – Help us stay one move ahead!

A call from the INVISIBLE MOVE project

We are looking for an enthusiastic chess teacher or chess coach for a special project. INVISIBLE MOVE (I-MOVE) is a European Erasmus+ project that uses chess as a means to empower visually impaired youth — in self-confidence, in cognitive abilities, and in social participation.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who would like to give a chess lesson to a small group of five visually impaired young people on March 17 and/or March 24. The lesson(s) will take place at Ligue Braille (Rue d’Angleterre 57, 1060 Brussels). Experience with visual impairment is not a requirement — we will provide the necessary context and support. Your commitment will be compensated.

Would you like to go one step further?

Then there is an optional second possibility: accompanying the young people to the international chess tournament in Turkey. Departure on April 14, return on April 18. All costs — flights, meals, and transport — are fully covered.

INVISIBLE MOVE is a collaboration between partners from Turkey, Belgium, Spain, and North Macedonia, supported by the Turkish National Agency within the Erasmus+ program. More info at invisiblemove.eu
