Fide Hainaut Championship 2025

We are pleased to invite you and your members to take part in the Hainaut 2025 Championship.

The Hainaut Chess Club in partnership with the Cercle d’Echecs La Tour Saint-Ghislain and with the support of the FEFB is pleased to organize this FIDE tournament in 9 rounds, cadence: 90 min. with increments of 30 sec./move from the 1st move.

It is subdivided into two sections, the first “MASTERS” for players ranked 1800 ELO or more and the second “OPEN” for players ranked 1799 ELO or less,

The tournament will take place from Thursday, May 1, 2025 to Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the Ecole Communale de Masnuy-Saint-Jean, Rue Bois de Genly, 1, 7050 Masnuy-Saint-Jean (Jurbise).

List of entrants, results and pairings will be posted on Swar Result on the FRBE website.

Registration :

up to and including April 28, 2025, the fee is €40 (euros) for over-20s and €30 (euros) for under-20s (as at January 1, 2025). Payment constitutes reservation and registration for the tournament. A €10 surcharge will be applied for registrations after Monday, April 28, 2025 or on site on the day of the competition. The event is free for FIDE titled players (GMI, MI, MF, GMIF, MIF).

To the club’s account: BE32 0689 0715 1202 with “Championnat du Hainaut 2025” + last name, first name and Fide number (or FRBE number).
