We cordially invite you and your members to participate in the Hainaut Championship 2025.
The Hainaut Chess Club, in collaboration with the Cercle d’Echecs La Tour Saint-Ghislain and with the support of the FEFB, is pleased to organize this 9-round FIDE tournament, played at a tempo of 90 minutes, with a 30-second increment per move from the 1st move.
It is divided into two sections: the first, “MASTERS”, for players with an ELO of 1800 or more, and the second, “OPEN”, for players with an ELO of 1799 or less,
The tournament will take place from Thursday, May 1, 2025, to Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Ecole Communale de Masnuy-Saint-Jean, Rue Bois de Genly, 1, 7050 Masnuy-Saint-Jean (Jurbise).
The list of participants, results, and pairings will be published on Swar Result on the FRBE website.
Registration Form:
Until April 28, 2025, the entry fee is €40 (euros) for those over 20 years old and €30 (euros) for those under 20 years old (as of January 1, 2025). Payment serves as a reservation and registration for the tournament. A surcharge of €10 applies for registrations after Monday, April 28, 2025, or on-site on the day of the competition. The event is free for players with a FIDE title (GMI, MI, MF, GMIF, MIF).
To the club’s account: BE32 0689 0715 1202 with the reference “Championnat du Hainaut 2025 + name, first name, and FIDE registration number (otherwise FRBE registration number).
