IM norm tournament near Belgium

The German Chess Youth Federation is planning to organize a IM norm tournament in parallel to this year’s Deutsche Ländermeisterschaft in Oer-Erkenschwick (30.9. – 5.10.).

We would be really happy to welcome a young norm seeker from Belgium in our tournament.

Details:

• Starting fee: 250 €
• Overnight stay including full board is 250 € (triple room) / 350 € (double room)
• Playing venue: Salvador-Allende-Haus (triple rooms are there as well, double either there or in Hotel am Stimbergpark, lunch & dinner always in Salvador-Allende-Haus)
• Schedule: 30.9. (Round 1), 1.10. (2), 2.10. (1), 3.10. (2), 4.10. (2), 5.10. (1)

Interested players shall contact us (normenturniere@deutsche-schachjugend.de) as soon as possible, as we reached out to the Netherlands as well.

Cost is per person for all the nights (Tue/Wed until Sat/Sun) including full board. Players can choose their own hotel, they don’t have to stay with us if they don’t want to.

We provide lunch and dinner in the playing venue (starting with the dinner on Tue and ending with lunch on Sun) for 75 € per person.

The first round starts at 15:00. It is also possible to arrive on monday, with some additional costs obviously.
