Support of talents for IM/GM norm – DL 30.04

One of the objectives of the Belgian Chess Federation is to support young and ambitious talents in obtaining their IM/GM standards and titles.

Thinkers Publishing is organizing a GM standards tournament this summer in Ghent. The tournament is 9 rounds and is organized together with the Open of Ghent, from 19 to 23 July 2025.

Playing speed: 90 min. + 30 sec/move of move 1

There are 5 places for players who pay 400 euros registration. Those 400 euros go entirely to the prize pool for this tournament. Thinkers Publishing will provide the grandmasters. If you are a +2300 player and you are interested, the RBCF will contribute 200 euros to the registration fee.
