Train with GM Eljanov on Saturday 18/04

Thinkers Publishing offers ambitious Belgian chess players a unique opportunity: intensive training days led by an international grandmaster. In a small, select group, you will work for a full day with a top-level trainer on your chess development.

On April 18, we welcome Pavel Eljanov as the instructor.

Pavel Eljanov is an absolute top player. He has won the Chess Olympiad twice with Ukraine and has also claimed victory in many renowned open tournaments, including the Aeroflot Open, the Biel tournament, and the Isle of Man tournament. He has competed in numerous elite events, facing the very best players in the world. With his current rating of 2682, he remains comfortably within the world’s top 100. His peak rating was 2765, which placed him briefly in the world’s top 10.

Practical information

• Location: Foodies Arena, Eedverbondkaai 242, 9000 Ghent
• Time: 10:00 – 17:30 (45-minute lunch break, sandwiches provided)
• Target audience: Strong Belgian players and ambitious young players (recommended level 2100+ or those who believe they can compete at that level)
• Price: € 40 per training day

• Capacity: Maximum of 15 participants per training day
• Language: The training will be conducted in English

Each participant will receive a signed book by the grandmaster at the end of the session.
