Training with GM’s Fernandez and Andriasian on 29 and 30/7

Thinkers Publishing is offering ambitious Belgian chess players a unique opportunity to train with world-class grandmasters during two intensive training days on Wednesday, 29 July and Thursday, 30 July.

Participants will work in a small, carefully selected group under the guidance of Grandmasters Daniel Howard Fernandez and Zaven Andriasian, allowing for an interactive and highly personalized learning experience.

To ensure the highest possible level of instruction, this event is reserved for strong players. Only the 15 highest-rated applicants will be accepted. Applications close on 22 July, after which all applicants will be informed whether they have secured a place.

Daniel Howard Fernandez is an active international grandmaster, a regular author and collaborator for Thinkers Publishing, and a familiar face in Belgium thanks to his highly appreciated training sessions.

Zaven Andriasian, former World Youth Champion, is the author of three acclaimed Thinkers Publishing books and has built an excellent reputation as a coach for talented young players.

Practical Information

• Dates: Wednesday 29 July & Thursday 30 July
• Venue: Foodies Arena, Eedverbondkaai 242, 9000 Ghent, Belgium
• Time: 10:00–17:30 on both days (45-minute lunch break; sandwiches provided)
• Target group: Strong Belgian players and ambitious juniors (recommended playing strength: 2200+ FIDE, or players confident they can comfortably follow training at this level)
• Participation fee: €100 for both training days

As an added bonus, every participant will receive a signed Thinkers Publishing book at the end of the training.
