General Assembly 6 december – request for information

Dear chess clubs,

The general assembly will take place on 6 december 2025. During this assembly you will have the chance to be heard on several topics and you can enter candidates for several functions.

As usual we will require to know in advance by whom you will be represented. Are you coming to the meeting physically or will you join online or will another club represent you. Be carefull that any club can only represent a maximum of 5% of the votes. You will get the voting codes in advance from Ruben Decrop – Talistro.

You have until 20 November to provide the following information :

  • any questions that you may have towards the administrators,
  • questions on the financial result and the budget, which will be provided by 8 November at the latest
  • any additional points you want to introduce to the agenda, these points need to be supported by 5% of the members

And you can enter the following candidates, also until 20 November

  • any candidate for the presidency
  • any candidate for an administrator function
  • candidate for “ombudsman”

Finally we will appreciate receiving nominations for the commissions, these can be entered until 5 december

  • for the complaints commission
  • for the appeals commission
  • for the ethics commission

A first version of the agenda will be provided by 8 November. This agenda will contain time and place of the meeting, all agendapoints, the financial results (not yet verified by the verificators), the draft budget, the reports from the administrators, any proposed changes to the statutes, the proposal for the yearly membership fee and the names of candidates already received.
