As many have seen, FIDE published a new ranking yesterday (04.05.2025) in which the correction of the incorrect results has been processed. The new elo’s have also been processed in our databases and on our website. Please take these new elo files into account during the upcoming tournaments.
Update 02.05.2025 – the fault is traced back to an error in the code that generated the FIDE report. All even board numbers can be affected. We have submitted an updated, corrected report to FIDE with the request to correct this calculation as soon as possible. FIDE is aware of the big impact this error has on the ELO calculation of May.
We are aware that the report of the last round of the national interclubs contained errors in the results and that these incorrect results were also processed by FIDE. We will ensure that a new correct report is sent to FIDE. However, we are then dependent on FIDE for the processing and the time at which it will be processed again. In the past, corrections have not always been processed with the same success.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

01.05.2025 - 14:48All,
the corrected report has been sent to FIDE.
So now we all have to wait if and when FIDE Ratings will treat this corrected file.
When we receive an answer of FIDE Ratings or when the ratings are corrected, we will inform you.
Kind regards,
Luc Cornet.

01.05.2025 - 08:10Hoi Steven,
